5. Why does the report not show the full VIN of the vehicle?

Created by Angie from CarAnalytics, Modified on Wed, 27 Mar at 11:57 AM by Angie from CarAnalytics

The Vehicle Identification Number(VIN) is a 17-digit identifier number unique for all vehicles produced worldwide.

Following the DVLA guidelines( data source for this info), we are allowed to share only the last few digits in order to prevent vehicle cloning and ringing. This applies to all vehicle check providers in the UK.

If you send us the reg number and full VIN, we will be happy to cross-check the VIN details and confirm if it matches. Contact us at support@caranalytics.co.uk.
